The Rundown
We keep it loose. This is a backyard party, not a concert.
The prep and smoking don't happen the morning of — it starts days before. Low and slow all week so the meat is exactly right when you get there.
Come hungry. Brisket, ribs, pulled pork, sides, and all the fixings. We keep the food coming as long as it lasts.
The band shows up and plays. No hard set time — that's kind of the point. Good tunes in the background while you eat, hang out, and enjoy the day.
Prizes from local sponsors drawn throughout the day. You have to be present to win. Raffle tickets available at check-in.
When the meat runs out, the day winds down naturally. No hard stop time — just good food, good people, and good memories until it's done.
Where It's At
Central Virginia. Easy to find. Hard to forget.
Exact address will be shared via email after registration. Located in the heart of Louisa County with easy access from Route 33 and I-64.
Plenty of free on-site parking — no attendants needed. Just pull in and find a spot. We have enough space for everyone.
The Experience
More than a cookout. It's a whole day thing.
Brisket, wagyu brisket, pork ribs, burnt ends, armadillo eggs, shotgun shells, and more — plus three sauces including our house Booty Sauce. Cooked low and slow all week.
This is a BYOB event — bring your own beer, wine, or spirits. No alcohol is sold on-site. We'll have non-alcoholic options available (water, sodas).
A local band performing live all afternoon. The perfect soundtrack for smoked meat and good company.
This is the part that makes it special. Neighbors, friends, families, and first-timers all sharing a table. Seven years of tradition.
Be Prepared
We handle the food. You handle the vibe.

We've got tables, but your own chair makes it feel like home.
